Ladder is actually 01234567 or 12345678. That's interesting but I wouldn't put it in the ladder category.
It's interesting because of the "look", but not from a collecting category. If you collect notes, you may want to keep it because of the "look", since it's only $1. Otherwise just spend it. JMHO
In an auction you be disappointed. Why? Because after fees you'd only receive deer balls. Both are under a buck.

Thank you for your reply’s. Wasn't really worried about value because this note looks like it has been in master swimmers pocket for the past 10 years. My daughter is a waitress and is always looking for the golden egg , so she asked me if it was considered as a ladder and i wasn’t sure. Cool note but no golden egg
Some people consider it a ladder because each number is the same or higher than the last number. A true ladder uses only one number and each number is one higher than the last.
