Decided to stick to Mercury dimes...

    in MS condition without FB designation. Depending on price I'll go as high as I can afford at the time.

    Some are going to be tricky to find affordable at decent grades.

    This set I don't want FB and I'd prefer all graded by the same company, probably PCGS.

    Wish me luck on my quest. Off to sell some goodies now.

    Good luck. I'm off to an ok start on mine. I don't really want to add the 42 over 41 varieties to mine but will have to find a 16 D however

    The 16-D and the 21-D will be tough to find in the correct grade.

    The overdates may also be something to consider.

    I tend to think about the most expensive coin in a set before I decide on a grade. That way, I can make them all fit together, and look good as a set.

    ...and my budget doesn't get destroyed in the process.
