My newest acquisition is in transit. It's an advertisement token for Freedomland in the Bronx. I think I was seven when we went there but I still remember how cool it was. I bet @green18 was there too?

We went there too a couple of times. I fondly remember my brother hurling his lunch at the very top of the ferris wheel, and the crowd below scurrying about, trying to avoid the toxic substance.

Yeah!!! Went there first time after winning a contest as a paperboy for Newsday. Went several times after that with family. Great times! Hope to see your post when it arrives!

 

Oh yeah, I'll post it as soon I can after I get it. We were suppose to go a second time but one of my brothers came down with Chicken Pox so that got canceled.

 

I was a paperboy with Newsday.

 

I think that’s the year/mintmark that I had a whole roll plated. I let a few out into the wild. It’d be crazy if that was one of them.
