My M. Cipius denarius, with Victory riding bigga Hadrian Cappadocia Hemiddrachm with victory on the reverse Maximinus Thrax denarius with Victory on the reverse. This coin was minted just after he assumed power, hence the Alexander Severus likeness on the coin (Rome didn't know what Maximinus looked like yet), so what victory could he have been celebrating? Maybe the victory of hacking Alexander Severus to pieces and usurping the throne?

I have a couple of Victory but this is my favorite, Vespasianus 76 AD, Victoria Avgust / S-C, Victory standing on prow, with wreath and palm. RIC II 897. Shame about the couple of patina breaks, but besides that good detail for the type.
Sorry I skipped that info...I had mega company yesterday... Athena; AE-15 from Side, Pamphylia, circa 2nd-1st century Zeus; Elaiussa, Cilicia, AE-20. 150-50 BC Gorgeous posts guys!!!
I always like your RR's Sporky. Just the right amount of wear, but good quality. You have a solid capture strategy going on. (And, of course, you back it all up with solid research and knowledge.) Fun to watch your posts. Nice job.
