Congratulations on cleaning up Prospect Park in NYC. You got a great haul. And more silver. That half a coin does look like what @SensibleSal66 said. Have a great New Year Paddy.

The truck is probably worth more than some of your coins. Great way to end the year, congrats. Bah-Hum-Bug!

I'm thinking that the coin you have might be a 2 cent piece. But as said, it could also be a draped bust, I can't tell for certain.

...but it looks like it has a wreath (or at least leaves) on both faces?

My first thought was that the three letters at the top of the first photo are O K E, making me wonder if it was a token.

It’s not, i can see “OKE”

I think it is a Great Britain or a Canadian penny token. They circulated widely when there was a shortage of copper coins.

Could be this one or a similar one. There are multiple varieties of these. I have a few myself (photo not mine)

I kept Detecting the area where I found the cut token to see if I was able to locate the other half.. after 20 minutes, no luck.

That would have been fun to find. Maybe you'll find it this year. I just wonder if it was intentionally cut.

It’s not an exact match, I think the obverse of yours has the same design elements, but the inscription around the perimeter is probably different. I’ll get a pic of my examples when I can.

The Elf on the Shelf knew you were coming and hid it from you. Look for the clues, good luck.

Perhaps, if it was used in commerce, it was cut to use as a half cent. If that's the case, the other half would be nowhere near.
