I'm a little confused, while taking these pictures I saw no fg, tan i looked at the picture and now it has a faint fg? Research on ebay has this coin in the $2K? What say you?
It's more in the one cent range, just a normal 1982 cent. Asking prices on ebay is definitely not the place to do research!
NO WAY... As mentioned before eBay is not the place to see how much coins are worth. Anyone who lacks knowledge or is just desperately trying to scam people can ask for any price they want.. it's really sad. The faint FG on your Cent is common and should have no kind of premium at all.
You have just discovered the fact that we can often see more on the surface of a coin in a focused photograph than with our naked eye - even using high magnification.
