Who says roll searching is futile? My pic is not great but it's there. Plus an obverse die crack at the base of the bust. Just sharing. Appears as RCD-25c-2006P-01R (ND) but retained. (Cuds On Coins Reference)
The cud is nice, but the die crack on the base of the bust is common. I've seen tens of thousands of them. Chris
Actually, and I forgot to ask, with both a cud on the reverse and die crack on the obverse, would this be any indication that the same die pair were used on this coin? I don't even know if I'm asking the correct question on this as I know nothing about die pairing. Actually Chris, if I didn't post the obverse, I knew someone would ask why I didn't. Your right, I've seen thousands of the same also.
Yours is a full cud, check out CU-25c-2006P-2R(ND), http://cuds-on-coins.com/washington-quarter-cuds-state-terr-2/
Tommy, a marker (PUP) on one die only means that you can pair it with another anomaly on the same die. For example, I found 228 "Y" clashes in a 1980 Philly $50 Mint bag. I know that all of these clashes came from the same die because there are two die scratches extending from the 2nd "A" in AMERICA. Chris
This is a cool site! Found my '76 nickel cud listed there! http://cuds-on-coins.com/jefferson-nickel-cuds-1971-1973-1979/
I found a long cud on a 1985 1 cent starting from IN GOD WE T and all you can read is RUST now is this a nice find or what? now a QUESTION this 1985 has been tagged like the person that had it before me put some kind of blue here is some errors stuff on it . I am new to this so pay to get it cleaned or just get it graded? and bytheway nice find on that 2006 QUARTER with the CUD!!!!!!!!!!!!
Nice find on yours also! This looks like an environmental type of damage though. ANACS does conservation if and when possible but I'm not sure about this one. Though the picture is blurry, it looks like there is a plating bubble/zinc rot on the reverse at the T in Cent. They may not touch this. But the best of luck to you on this nice find. I'll let the others chime in on this issue.

A few years ago, I got a roll of the Alabama quarters when they first came out. There were half a dozen of the Cud 1 in there. I tried to sell a couple of them, but there was no interest. So I kept them as a curiosity.
