Does this slab look like it's been tampered with??

If you've ever attended a big coin show and had the opportunity to roam around on "Dealer's Day", you would see some dealers tossing the slabs around like they were junk mail. So, it's not unusual to find some abused slabs.

NGC slabs have certain spots that look glued. Can't really tell from the photos but I don't see anything out of the ordinary. You said though that it doesn't look like other NGC slabs in comparison, so I don't know what to say.

Would not taking apart a slab to switch coins lead to some damage marks on the slab?

It should yes especially with the newer slabs. I'm not even sure it you had the machines they use if it would be possible to unseal it then seal it with the same shell.

Whiteness along the edge of the slab is fairly common for NGC slabs, especially for older slabs. Nothing to be worried about.

Is that a finger print on the upper right hand obverse corner? Any glue on the fingers would do this and there is no glue in the slab room (?).

Don't do this. I don't believe NGC has ever claimed their slabs to be water proof.
