For those of you that have followed me (and tolerated my obsession! :D ), I finally completed my Peace Dollar registry set this June, and I just got all my pictures back from the photographer today.

I have just finished uploading all of the pictures, and now consider this decade long project complete!!! (At least until I upgrade one of the coins!)

To kick things off, I've included the first ever US Coin designed by Anthony de Francisci - the 1920 Maine 50c Commemorative.

Link at the bottom to the registry set which is now complete with excellent high quality photos.

Allow me to present the highlights of the collection:

Wow, super-nice and a great accomplishment. Congratulations. I like that you posted pics of every coin. I think it should be a requirement for registering a coin, but it might be a hardship for some older or disabled collectors.

Great photos! Thanks for the pictures. I just have 1 question. Should both large S and small S 1928 varieties be included to officially be a complete set?

I can't afford to chase varieties in these grades. Besides, the toning on this one makes me forget there's even a mint mark. :)

I can quite put my finger on it, but most of those look suspiciously like Dan Carr's "work". Perhaps some recognition is in order.... ;)

Seriously though; it is indeed a fine set and you've every reason to be proud. Congrats!

Not sure what you mean here. I actually sourced every one of these myself. I do have a "1964 Peace Dollar" fantasy coin that I plan on putting into a slab with my own "faux" grading on - but it will be labeled as such.

If he was involved in these, I appreciate it - but not sure which or where?

Kidding, Brett... Of course he's nothing to do with it, and proper recognition was most certainly given, by you, to the deserving.

    Congrats on the beautiful set!

Who did your pictures? They are quite good.

The Registry set is a fantastic way to show off your coins, especially with good pictures. Now, it is time to step up the Registry game just a little bit and post some good descriptions or information about each coin. Tell us about your search, your quest, how to grade them, what to look for on each date, any interesting stories about how you acquired them... That will make this a set that is a "must see."

Also, what do you mean by "Top 20"?

You are at rank 43, unless I'm mistaken (or you are referring to something else).

BluCC Photos. Thankfully he's right in my back yard here in the Sacramento area. I'd never have had the guts to ship my registry set anywhere.

And I scoped him out for a year, and completely vetted him through 2 dealers before I let him have my coins.

Thankfully, he was appreciative, professional and patient with my paranoia. :) And his work is definitely above par.

Oh, I see what you are doing. You are filtering "NGC Only" coins.... That doesn't really count. If you look at all sets, you are #43.
