The coin is beautiful but I really love the birds. A conclave of Cardinals, a convention of Cardinals, a covey of Cardinals, a surplus of Cardinals, a devotion of Cardinals.................................................okay, that's enough eggnog for me.

I love the coins but the Cardinals come in first place.

Seriously, beautiful Buffalo Nickel you have there. The birds look great and I'll go out on a limb here and say that photo was not taken in Florida.

Yowza! Thank you! I accept your generous gift of that MS67 Buffalo nickel! Shall I message you my address? ;)

Cardinals we have a ton of. I've seen almost as many as in that picture, hanging around on our front fence. They love to steal the food we put out for the outdoor dog and cats.

In fact, cardinals are the most common bird in our yard. We do also get some redheaded woodpeckers and blue jays going after the cat food. They're very bold, and will sometimes snatch the food when the cats are still nearby! Luckily for them, the cats are lazy.

Most, around here, seem timid and shy. Nary encroaching upon doggy dishes.
