    found 1970 s penny I think it is a large am? Looks good?

    I say:

    ALL 1970 cents are Wide AM.

    No idea what a "large am" is.

    There are large and small date varieties of 1970-S. Yours is a large date.

    Small Date & Large date vs. Close AM and Wide AM..

    The thread title and the comment had me zigging and zagging.

    Like others, LD variety. The double check to keep in mind when hunting WAMs and CAMs is to verify the FG font. The year was not and RDV variety year.
