I just got a group lot of early Roman copper imperials. For some reason these large chunks of copper, (bronze and brass), just make me feel good. Everyone knows I am not a Roman collector, but I just cannot help myself when it comes to these. I got them for about $25 each delivered. Now, I cannot say I would have picked all of them out of a $25 pick box, there are many, (top row especially), I would have paid much more for. The first coin especially. It does not look it in my horrible photo, but its a lustrous glowing jade green and extremely pretty in hand. Anyway, if anyone knows the id of any of them please let me know. I just love them how they are in a pile together right now, (I have them at my desk to "play" with them), but should eventually attribute them and put them away. Also, anyone have any large chunks of Roman copper they want to share I bet my guys, (and one girl), would love the company!
Nice score, some are worth much more than $25 each. Shame they will be "put away", never to be seen again.
That's a very fun group. The Marcus Aurelius caught my eye first. Here's a similar coin in CNG's archives if you want to copy the attribution.
Can't disagree with you there . Well... your photo skills aren't that bad but apparently your photo editing skills are nonexistent . Here are the group shots inserted into the post so we don't have to click to view them: And here are the other shots, corrected for rotation, joined, and made less huge.
Thanks @TIF ! Yeah, not idea why they posted that way. They looked correct in MS Paint. Yeah, um, that is my level of photo editing, MS Paint. In my limited defense, I suck at taking photos so don't edit them much, I am a CFO, have a 2 and a 4 year old boys at home, and am a doctoral student. It is on my bucket list to have more time to play with, photograph, and pretty up coin pictures someday.

Nice bunch of coins. First ones that caught my eye were the elephant and horse reverse coins. Definitely worth the price you paid for.
Is that a Sabina/Juno, second row far right? I don't have RIC books and don't know Imperials well, but I don't recall seeing a ton of Sabina bronzes. Maybe it's scarce?
Super buy and some lovely coins Here is a good place to look at for attributing them http://www.wildwinds.com/
Looks to me like a wonderful lot. Some very nice coins I would pay much for on an individual basis. I would love to find a lot like this.
Wonderful assortment!! I see what the others have already noticed and a lot of Trajan bronzes...Augustus, Domitian and just about everyone LOL That's a 'lot' I'd love to have!
