Here is a 1795 U.S. Flowing Hair Dollar which the British counterstamped with King George III's head during their coin shortages of the 1790s and early 1800s. According to Maurice Bull, this piece is unique, and no, it's not in my collection.

1795 is a good year for Soho pieces.

A KH4 silver pattern halfpenny, Peck -. It came out of a Baldwin's basement sale and a miss by Peck who only recorded the P1039 early Soho silver coin from these dies in the original state. A beautiful coin.
    upload_2023-12-12_19-17-4.jpeg

A KH5 copper pattern halfpenny Peck 1046 which uses the 1797 draped bust obverse die. This came from a Stacks(?) sale roughly twelve years ago having been in the Riever Collection. This is a seriously rare piece, as until it appeared, no example had come to market in over 40 years, with Spink's Circular listing in 1968 being the last on record. It is also worth noting that based on die polishing, it is actually earlier than the KH4 above.
    upload_2023-12-12_19-24-33.jpeg

Taylor also made an extensive series of restrikes dated 1795. It is possible to establish the chronology of type R42 by checking the degree of die polishing. Pieces were struck in several finishes, such as:
    a gilt Peck 1052
    upload_2023-12-12_19-29-1.jpeg

    bronzed copper Peck 1053
    upload_2023-12-12_19-31-40.jpeg

Another bronzed copper Peck 1053, but an earlier strike.
    upload_2023-12-12_19-32-59.jpeg

    a brass Peck 1055
    upload_2023-12-12_19-34-5.jpeg

And this is the die that the R42 was re-engraved from, an R41 Peck 1051. The obvious differences are the single strand of hair on the neck which points in the opposite direction, but has in fact been completely re-engraved and the curls below the bust. Traces of the curls seen below the truncation are visible on the earlier strike Peck 1053 above, which was probably the reason NGC called that coin a P1051, despite not being one. Oh well.

I have these two for 1795 (besides a couple of very ropey Maundy pieces):
Coronation medallion for George (later George IV) and Caroline. (Not a happy marriage!)
    George & Caroline marriage 1795 1-side.JPG
And this halfpenny token celebrating a victory against the French by Earl Howe. (He was the hero of the hour until Nelson came along.)

Off for a few days, so time for 1794. Just the 4 pieces for me.

A Lancaster halfpenny token and the first use of the wide raised rim at Soho.
    upload_2023-12-18_23-32-56.jpeg

Second, a penny size advertising token issued by the coin dealer Henry Young in 1794.
    upload_2023-12-18_23-34-18.jpeg

    A 1794 fifth issue guinea.
    upload_2023-12-18_23-35-7.jpeg

And finally, a countermarked Lima 8 reales - which most of you have probably seen before.

The only 1794 coming up on my machine is the Netherlands Zeeland Duit. I know I sold it a while ago and I suspect @coin_nut may have it now:
