This was a birthday gift from a couple years ago from a relative how worked at a bank.
It's in super good condition. Any opinions? IMG_0748.JPG IMG_0750.JPG IMG_0751.JPG
some marks on the back near the bottom not sure if that is PMD or some strange error but i assume it's a PMD.

Always loved the reverse of the $2! Hard to tell from your pics, but I think that's probably offset ink from the press.

As far as condition, would say XF , my late
father in law had a $1000 plus of $2 bills
taped under his drawer we found them
when he passed, unfortunately there is very little value over face.

The marks on the bottom appears to be roller ink from when the note was printed. This is quite commonly seen on older notes in AU or uncirculated condition.

As far as what this note is worth, I would say it is worth $2.50 to the right collector. Say someone who needs this district in particular for their collection so not much. If you created an AU/uncirculated district set starting with this bill then you'd have an item of value but to do so would still likely be more trouble than it's worth.

You have a beautiful $2 bill. It's value is $2. If it's the only one you have, save it and enjoy looking at it. Otherwise, spend it and enjoy the reaction :)
