No, I'm not referring to the first two atomic bombs. I am of course referring to these two new coins I picked up today. The fat man is a Chinese "Fat Man" dollar, which I've wanted for a long time. These are heavily faked and I always hesitated buying one from eBay. I bought this in person from a respected world coin dealer who assures me it is authentic.

The little boy refers to this 1890 Spanish 5 pesetas featuring the 4-year-old king Alfonso XIII. There's just something funny about seeing that child on the back of a coin as king.

    I had a bunch of other fun pickups too that I'll detail in a different thread when I get a chance. 1914 china 1 dollar.jpg 1890 spain 5 pesetas.jpg

Picked one at the LCS junk box a couple years ago
Knew right away what it was since one of my coin buddies found one circulating 20 years ago in Syracuse New York. Gave it to a fellow collector in St Augustine
Here’s my LCS pick. Still have it IMG_0608.jpeg IMG_0609.jpeg
