weak lettering on nickel, error?

    the letters on the coin seem to be very weak compared to the Monticello and Jefferson head and the mint mark. why is this? possible error? 1470261875715-1750723496.jpg

    The rims look to be well formed so not a week strike . Other letters appear to be struck well so I would say a bit of grease filled die.

    Not an error. Probably Die Deterioration. Good eye thought!
