Back when I was buying lots of stackable silver dollars, I would frequently get a lions share of 1921 Morgans. And often in pretty nice shape too…. 1921 Morgans were pretty much relegated to the junk silver bin……. Now that the mint has done the throwback 2021 Morgans has that made the 1921’s more desirable?

The 1921 Peace got a big bump in 2021, and I thought I remembered hearing that there was at least a little bump for 1921 Morgans as well. I was going to try to dump most of mine that year, but it didn't work out.

I've probably got 600 silver dollars, and not ONE 1921 Peace dollar. :muted: The 21 Morgan gets no respect, sadly.

I saw a slight increase for these in MS 63 and higher slabs (but then pretty much all generic MS 63 and above graded Morgans went up with the post-2020 market bump). The Peace Dollars were the ones that really soared though.

Is it just me or is it everyone else that thinks the Peace dollars were very poorly struck in comparison to Morgans? Like I said, I don't have a 1921 high relief Peace dollar. The word PEACE on the rest of them make them look very weak, like the whole coin is cleaned even in superb condition?

Some of the early San Francisco Morgans are very well struck. The Peace Dollars are decent but not quite up to those early Morgans. The 1921 can be harder to grade but I would not say they all look cleaned.

I had a 1921 Peace that ANACS graded MS62, and judging from the dealer's reaction, it wasn't overgraded. I decided his offer was too good to refuse. It was a nice coin, probably too nice for the likes of my collection.

To this day, I have not come into contact with a 1921 Peace Dollar, personally, nor a 1928. And I've seen a lot of Peace dollars. :rage:
