Yes, and I'll edit my reply accordingly. This is what happens when I'm dividing my attention -- sometimes I divide by zero.

I think the reasoning behind the statement on Morgan’s or Peace dollars was to let buyers know that if you want to buy for metal value you’d do better buying silver bullion coins over US minted coins. More silver in one over the other. As for collectors, the actaul silver content means beans when it comes to buying rare or highly collectible coins. So back to the original point, who and why are 2021 Morgan dollars pushing $2k each? Why are grading services grading more coins with ms70 grades? If it's rarity, then why not buy a ms69s? Much fewer were produced and graded at 69.. lol

Well, it’s over! I purchased my 2021d Morgan but not in a ms70 grade. I got it in a rare grade, ms69. lol
Saved about $1800 at the same time.

You didn’t really save $1800. I see PCGS and NGC MS70s on eBay for under $1000. Still up there but almost half of $1800.

Rob, yes you are correct. My number is incorrect. It should have been 800 not 1800. What I should have wrote was, what I paid for the 69, in comparison to the numbers I’ve seen paid for the 70s, I saved hundreds. Or did I lose hundred s buying a 69?
