With all due respect, John; when you've contributed even a tiny fraction of what Chris has to the forum, perhaps then you'll carry the weight to call him a "troll" and/or crown yourself the unquestionable judge of another person's intent. Until then, perhaps it would be best to tone it down some.

AGAIN, knock off the personal crap and stick to the topic. John, having read this thread you started it because you didn't understand Chris's reference and you two seem to have prior issues. All of you drop it and get back on topic.

Nope it is not silver, but stil looks and SOUNDS different from other quarters and the side... Here I shall post some pics, may not be silver, but what is it? Just a really good coin? I think the flash makes it looks bad but it doesn't look like the pictures in person which is weird...

Actually, I've never interacted with this person. I blocked him a long time ago.

I've noticed quite a few 1965 quarters over the years which have sounded "different," but when you weigh them, they're normal clad coin weight.

Instead of using a flash, next time just try using lamps.

It's tough to say for sure, but if I had to guess I'd say what we're seeing is a plated coin. The shot of the edge seems to suggest as much.

Definitely plated though I can't say with what. I find examples like this (not this date) all the time coin hunting through bank rolls and I keep everyone as they are just a curiosity and still worth the face value.

Well I'll tell ya what, and this goes for everybody not just John, if ALL of you don't knock it off - I'm gonna put the whole bunch of you in time out !

I mean it, and I'm not just referring to this one thread. All of you grow up, and act like adults instead of a bunch of little kids !! I'm really getting tired of this crap !

And not on a reflective (vinyl?) tablecloth.
