Can anybody tell me why or how this quarter is gold in color on both sides? I tried cleaning it with viniger & salt.. But it remained the same.

Sometimes dish soap can give clad quarters strange colors. Otherwise, I don't know what caused it. Gold colored quarters have been showing up in circulation since the state quarters program began in 1999.

Oh....vinegar is acidic and salt is abrasive. Both are damaging to coins.

Salt and vinegar is for salads. Why would you clean any coin like that. Don't ever clean any coin.
