    Usual GTG...

Bonus points for guessing the slabbing company and grade...

For those who need a hint to guess the company, there is actually enough information in the image - look at 9 o'clock on the reverse, AFAIK only one company used that style of prong in their holder.

And if you think you are being sneaky and go browsing my PhotoBucket account, this is the only image I've uploaded of THIS coin.

If the photos show the luster accurately, my grade is AU53. TPG grade,AU55.

    AU 55 Accugrade

Does the obverse look better than the reverse in hand or am I just misinterpreting the picture?

I agree entirely that this coin is definitely an AU/MS slider. The breaks in the luster hold the coin back the most.

I don't think it's a slider, ms is fully struck and there's hair missing on top of lady Liberty head, at least from this image

I think the scratch is not severe enough to prevent a straight grade.

physics-fan3.14 You got any more of them.... prooflikes?

AU details, cleaned. There appears to be some haziness or residue on the unusually shiny center of the reverse. It appears unnatural in these pictures.

Of course, with different/better pictures, my opinion may change completely.
