Washington Quarters (along with Franklin halves) are darn near impossible for me to grade. I know photos are limited, but I would love to know thoughts on what these might grade. These came from a complete set I purchased as part of an estate. Thanks in advance! Will post a few images of each coin.

They are all nice coins, but I would say the 1939 is MS quality. The others could be low MS, with the '47 being AU in my opinion. Wait for others to chime in, good luck.

Hard to tell from the pictures, but I think they would all be MS. Bad scratch on the '47 forehead. Whatever they would be they are really nice coins right now.

There's a mark there that would cost it a couple of grade points, but I wouldn't call it so severe as a "bad scratch". That would make it a problem coin, which it is not, in my humble opinion. It's just got some tickmarks is all.

Nice coins and all high AU or low MS.

I'll take it concerning the scratch. Mark and I both hope i'm wrong and you're right.

Thanks for all the input. I’ve decided to keep the quarter collection intact (they were all in an intercept shield book) rather than hunt for high grades at one of the slab houses. I’ll list the whole book up for sale on eBay. There are some nice pieces in there for sure but Washington quarters are not the focus of my collection.
