Look at these fools go wild over this kennedy proof. PCGS puts it at 28.00 I expected it to go for more but this is crazy. 364578300452
Thats just crazy but you never know someone bidding on it. Is there something I am missing on this coin? Fools. Thats the site I should sell when the time comes for unloading or while the fools are out and about.
As a collector, I hate the rattle holders. As their name implies, they provide second rate protection, and they don’t fit in standard slab boxes. A rattle holder lowers the price for me. I don’t want it.
I do like the rattler holder but not this much I expected this to do around 100. That's what an ike rattler would do. These guys though...
I have great interest in coins. The holders are of use for market value and authentication purposes. Collecting all of the types of slabs does not interest me in the least.
Could be money laundering. Somebody wants a common Kennedy in an old inferior slab with a crappy label a little too much to seem legit.
You need to have some fun and run up the high bidder that has their name stacked THREE TIMES. It's like cheap entertainment spending someone else's money Just don't end up on the top of the list. More than one person thinks it will upgrade to a 66?
I'm sure that a Proof 1964 Kennedy Half Dollar is worth a lot of collectors. I purchased the 2015 Kennedy Half Dollar Collection in 2015 from the Mint. They are still in the Mint collection dry. I also got the 2015 Jacqueline Kennedy Gold Half Dollar. I'm also looking for the Gold Kennedy Half for my collection. I was in the eleventh grade history class when it was told over the speakers in the classrooms. School was out until the body of President John F. Kennedy was laid to rest in Arlington National Cemetary. In 1969, I was in the 82nd Airborne Division stationed at Fort Bragg (oops! Fort Liberty). A large rally was supposed to demonstrate on the streets of Washington D.C. The rally turned out to be a bust, so we were released to our cots until C-130s could return to D.C. to take us home. A buddy of mine went with me to Arlington to see Kennedy's grave. We were stopped by an Army guard. We were asked what we were doing there. We told them we had been sent to protect the monuments, but due to the poor showing of the March, we were released. We told him we wanted to see Kennedy's grave. He saw our wings and 82nd patch and showed us the way. It was a sobering experience.
I had thought about out but it could have been a shill and there had been people retracting bids and leaving you high bidder. So I only do it when it's still in reasonable range. I don't want a kennedy proof in a rattler holder that bad lol.
