Metal Detecting - 3 Hours of Goodies!

Hello everyone,
Yesterday I did a 3 hour metal detecting hunt at one of my favorite locations.
I had to leave early to get ready for an afternoon baby shower we were invited to.

These were added to the bottoms of women's dresses to keep the wind from blowing them upwards.

Beautiful colors and Awesome Hunt!
Hem weights were also used by the husbands for their fishing weights since they were made of lead.

 

I’d say you did great for 3 hours. 2 more Mercury Dimes to add to the collection as well. Glad you got out and had some nice finds.

 

Nice!! Where did you go? A new construction site where they are doing the initial grading?

 

Just a good old park in Queens NYC where I have done well many times.
