It's not necessarily hollow inside. Magician's Coin usually have another half of a different coin attached to half of the reverse. It's all machined.
It is usually also noticeable as to where it was chucked into a lathe, marks will be on the reeding. It definitely looks to be a millwright's "project".
You might be able to push on the center of the obverse side and pop it out. Or use a knife blade in the gap between the two pieces.
This is a post I copied from another thread from earlier this year.. Everyone.. I rim looks questionable. There can also be a possibility that it's a machined coin. Could be someones magic coin they accidentally spent. There is a magic trick called the Scotch and Soda coin trick. Google it. The Obverse is a machined shell and the Reverse is cut in a way that it fits into the shell. One side is the Kennedy reverse and the other a foreign coin glued together.
