This just purchased at the recent Baldwin auction. Very nice overall with just a bit of lustre loss - the nicer of the two sold that day:

Doesn't get any better than that. Congratulations on a great pick up.

Ah thanks, certainly not perfect but well struck for issue. Even though a more common date of the early date Vicky 2/6 is better than what I have.
I may try to improve some of my later dates of 2/6.
Possibly the very best currency specimen is the currency 1839 on the PCGS pop reports - I can post it if interested.

Thanks for that. I love toned coins and that one is subtle but very appealing. Having said that, I still think your coin is special. Enjoy it.

Yes, I was so happy to get this coin from the now defunct Glendining's auctions TWENTY-THREE years ago! Very long story behind how I got it back over to the USA but boy, was it worth it! This coin would not be touchable by me these days and probably has not been equaled, even by the Tyrant Collector.

Sweet Younghead Vickie! I like the toning.

No other currency in any grade at PCGS. Rather chuffed (and lucky!) on this one. I don’t think the frenzy going on with early Vick GB gold has extended to the silver issues, but will wait another decade or so and see how she goes at a big time auction.
