So, why did I have a dream involving an 1866 U.S. proof set last night? Nothing was happening in the dream. I just kept seeing a bunch of liberty seated coins floating by. And I kept wondering where the Indian Head cent was. I think I need to drink more before sleep. Or less.
Yep. You were supposed to go chase it, into the basement, where the guy with the chainsaw was waiting. Bad doggie. If you were a proper companion animal like a cat, I'd suggest CatNipTea...
Better than the dancing soda cups and popcorn boxes that invade my dream world.... I started mixing Nyquil with my brown liquor at bedtime... That must be it.
I have been fighting a cold since last week. Night time cold medicine gives me the weirdest dreams, and I usually don't dream.
In the late 80's I had a true nightmare where the Terminator was throwing me around my little apartment. Then he opened his hand, which had something in it that looked silver, and said "Morgan's anyone?" I don't know what brought this dream on. I never had much feelings towards Morgans good or bad. They've always been a shrug for me. But I seem to recall Morgan's taking a big giantic dump in the 90's. Maybe the Terminator bouncing me off of all four walls was his illustrative way of saying: "buy when the blood is flowing in the street."
I tend not to dream but when I do it’s all about beautiful women or coins and it’s all good. I have nice dreams.
I have dreamed about coins but rarely. Unfortunately, I have not been able to bring any of them back with me.
That's how coins show up in my dreams -- I get some great 19th-century near-MS stuff in change, see more in the register drawer, start swapping my paper money for it, and then wake up. Or, if it's a bad night, get a bunch of great stuff, then find that I can't fit it into my pockets...
