    Very interesting tetradrachm of Mazakes, satrap of Mesopotamia (331-323/2). You can still read MZ[D]K (in Aramaean) on the reverse.

    When I came across this horribly mutilated coin on ebay, I thought it was just another later owl types chopmarked to hell, but these unusual inscriptions prompted me to do more research, thus winning me this coin for only 60 bucks with no other competitions.

    Late as always, but Hades-Serapis aka Pluto and Cerberus the Dog o' Hell is kind of spooky. So is Caracalla's scowl:
