Thank You Mr. Kotter! I found this at error-ref.com Search Results for “capped die” (error-ref.com) and things looks correct, but I'll wait for our resident Error Guru @paddyman98 because he's so awesome!!
I try to be but I'm not perfect I saw this thread yesterday but I was not totally sure what it could be. It does have an awesome Die Crack on the Reverse side. On the C of CENT.
I would say it is more likely to be a Struck Through Debris error than struck with a Capped Die. Mostly due to the snake-like abnormality that I have not seen on a coin that was stuck with a Capped Die. A capped die usually strikes the blank smooth surface of a new planchet which pushes the metal on the Cap toward the perimeter of the coin/die in a smooth and even fashion until design details show through it. I believe that zinc is just to soft to form a ridge on the cap that could make the snake-like depressions into the coin it strikes. JMO
This is interesting. I’m thinking struck through something but probably not a die cap unless it folded over onto itself in some fashion. Almost looks like struck through cloth but no pattern from material.
New information has been received and processed by me and I now think the OP's coin is a struck with Capped Die.
