Peace Dollar paranoid doilies

Does anyone see doubling on this coin. I swear I can see another eye infront of Liberty's face. Probably "just my imagination running away with me"

I think I see part of a fingerprint between L & I but no actual 3rd eye.

I’m thinking it’s more of a die clash. It’s just in front of the eye but is doesn’t look like Liberty’s eye.

It really does look like an eye, doesn't it? But we're hard-wired to spot eyes, from way back when it might be a predator looking at us. These are just random marks, in a pattern that looks like an eye.

 

It took a few moments to see the "eye". Yes there is something that can resemble an eye. It appears to be in the toning or the skin that covers the coins field.
