Hopefully some luck with These grab bags! The Quarter is Silver Any chance This is a mixed alloy on the Indian Head Cent? If not, I only purchased it for a $1
You know you’re really stretching it with “mixed alloy” because the color looks a little funny. When I’m that old I hope I look half that good, and I’m purebred, not a mixed alloy. Some fun coins you’ve got there.
Which bag was the large cent in? I believe I'd be back for the rest of their foreign bags at that rate, and I don't even collect foreign. Way more than $8 worth of entertainment in a bag like that!
A neat group of coins, the kind I like to find in a junk box. The two Chinese cash are: 1. (upside down) Dao Guang (1821-1850) mint of Dongchuan in Yunnan Province. 2. Kang Xi (1662-1722), Board of Revenue mint in Beijing. The first one is a slightly scarcer mint, though not enough to actually be worth much premium, but a neat find anyway.
Thanks Parthicus! Very much Appreciated on the Info for those coins. Amazing that you knew what the coins were.
