Hello again couldn't find if this Lincoln cent was an RPM looks like top right little bit protruding out. I know it's a grease filled and wondering if that has anything to do with it? What about in God we trust machine doubling? On the reverse, the first u in Unum looks a little smaller behind it it looks like the regular size u. What says you. Lol..ty IMG_20231019_183749842.jpg IMG_20231019_183749842.jpg IMG_20231019_183539765.jpg IMG_20231019_183814428.jpg IMG_20231019_183814428.jpg IMG_20231019_183801968.jpg IMG_20231019_184930539.jpg

Looks like die deterioration there is a little of the same look inside the curve of the 9.
The 2 RPM's on a 79 that I know of are very minor. They have a split serif on the bottom of the leg w/a little extra thickness.

Thank you sir, speaking of extra sickness I just started looking at the 1982 Lincoln cents with extra thickness. Holy cow speak about eye strain. Lol, I know it's recognized as a doubled die but you don't see much about it . How collectible is it?

I don't even look much at the 82's. Between the different compositions and minors. it makes for what you said above, Eye Strain.
I find quite a few of the 79 D rpm's. They just aren't that sought after.

I’m thinking it was caused by a worn die.
