Simple I spent 20+ in the US Army. I retired in 1991 so I became 1991retiredarmy and on other places 1991retiredarmyvet.

tdec1000 Coin Rich, Money Poor :D

Mine is from my ebay seller id. I used my first initial from my name Tom and my last name Dec ( Tdec) and then it was already being used by some one on ebay so I added 1000 to it. Pretty boring I know but now everyone knows my seller id on ebay so I thought I would use it here as well and now every place I go I use it. Maybe I should change it I don't know. Not very original.

How did I not see this earlier? Well, mine is a corruption of my real name, John. However, I changed the spelling of my name 6 or 7 years ago (I can't remember why) to Jhonn. Even my mum uses it now, and I'm thinking of legally changing it to that soon. People pronounce my name either as 'John' or 'Jay-hon' or 'Juh-hon'. I have no preference.

My handle everywhere else on the web, including b9board.com and lambgoat.com, is weareDEADflowers, from some song lyrics by a band called Give Up The Ghost: "We are dead flowers and pocket change. / Me forcing smiles, it's so tragic, baby..."

i am the plain text warrior.

the ASCII (American Standard Code for Information Interchange) encoding format is used to represent English letters, symbols, punctuation, and numbers for use in computers. ASCII text is often referred to as "plain text" - i have advocated against the use of HTML in email since it creates additional traffic overhead and thus needing more bandwidth. a 10k HTML email contains the same content information as a 1k plain text email, but requires the additional 9k to describe the formatting, layout, and typeface of the content.

baron comes from the word baro which roughly translate to "warrior."

I'm a southerner and even though I've been in the north for sometime I still carry the accent. People at work noticed and began to call me southern bell. "1" is just a number off the top of my head. Therefore you have sbell1.

Well, I just don't like the JDoe31254 handles for myself, and I wanted somethign original - but they're mostly taken... including just my first name, so I thought and I thought and then I thought again. But they were all taken. I just wanted a User Name for crying out loud, so I thought HEY! How about backwards - and Resu Eman was born.... Unfortunately there seems to be several others out there on other boards.
