A nerve-wracking delivery (see USPS rant thread) but here's my 1901-O 10c NGC AU58, Obv2/Rev3. This completes the trifecta of hub types used for 1901-O (Obv1/Rev2, Obv2/Rev2, Obv2/Rev3). First impression is BU (butt ugly) but the charcoal toning with some dark orange and turquoise here and there is slowly growing on me.
I’ve just upgraded my 1824/4 overdate Bust half dollar with this AU beauty: @okbustchaser @Seattlite86 @Rheingold
There has to be a story about where it was and how it came back. And just as likely, it’s none of my business, either. Congratulations and don’t hurt anything doing the happy dance.
Well, you should definitely try for a 1947 if you want the newest one... Question is, which was the last made? The P or D? My money's on the 47-D as the newest made.
2023 has been one slow year for me following a St. Gaudens purchase at the Winter Fun. So, here’s how I decided to refire the engine (after a lot of years of doubting I’d ever pick one up) Enjoy!!!!
Well I've got to say, when you decide to do something, you don't go half way! Very nice coin. Glad for you.
This really isn't anything, but it's not too bad either. Hey, it's a CC mint. I pick up CC mint coins whenever I find them and they are "affordable" (That's my definition of affordable!). This one was pretty reasonable and you don't have to use a big part of your imagination to tell what it is, lol. So, it's my newest!
