Uh...must be a fresh grave, it's not even a month old and the posting before yours was an entire 15 minutes.
SuperDave and possibly two others said they were going to ignore me. My Post was a message... I'm helping the guy conserve the green Lincoln cent tomorrow. Get out the brown shoe polish...
That thread was hilarious. I limited my own response to one line, one of the most difficult things I've ever done.
Hi don't worry about putting the min MS 65 grade I did the same and they just ignored it and cracked it open anyways.
I've read the complete post, understanding that you have what is believed to be a more reasonable request/demand/position. If you don't understand the legalities and possible liabilities of public disclosure, I'd suggest that you just submit a reasonable request to the firm, possibly prior to a conversation with counsel. I strongly suggest an objective REASONABLE request. JMHO
Maybe it upgraded, never said anything about that . It's just a good thought, before you tell him to lawyer up ...
To me it is a simple question. Why would someone who has been in business as long as he has downgrade his own slab by 2 grades knowing that guarantee, that he presumably wrote, was out there? Why not just put it in another holder with a 66 grade? This makes no sense at all. Sounds like someone has an axe to grind to me.
There appear to be disparities posted pertaining to the communications between the OP and the TPG. Post #178 states "Hi Copper there is not a spot on the form to not reslab it so I wrote it on the form to not reslab if its lower than MS65, but unfortuately that didn't happen". Post #349 also appears to state an acceptance by the OP of a less than MS66 regrade. It appears that there may be a memory problem, as I often experience. Now, where was I? Oh, JMHO
Unbelievable! Why is this still a question? It has been interesting though, to see how some members think. And those wishing we could hear from Mr. Briggs... why would he? He has nothing to gain here. Those who dislike him are going to continue to dislike him, and those who may agree with him will simply move on.
...it is interesting however that they have now taken out the "All SEGS coins are guaranteed" part on their website. Swept under the rug is what it looks like from here
