You are absolutely correct, it is worth seeing. We haven't been in a few years, but they also have a painting there of Queen Victoria by Thomas Sully. He was the artist that drew the designs of the Seated Liberty Coins.

I think he did six paintings of Queen Victoria. He was most known for his paintings of political leaders and composers, including George Washington and John Adams. Painting the subject while standing and doing the subject from head to toe also became a style of his. His paintings are in most of the leading galleries and museums in the US, also some in Great Britian.

He must have done something right, he lived 99 Years.
