I found some errors 2 Grease errors (I Think) and 1 (I have no idea) Anyone know what the 1987 penny error is?
WoW! People do the strangest things, I guess. All I see is average cents. Nothing special. Your looking way too hard for things that aren't there. Just my 2 cents. IMHO.
Tell us where the error is supposed to be, don’t make us guess. The first two could be STG, but so minor and common to have no value. I don’t see an error anywhere on the ‘87…imo…Spark
A slight Finned Rim due to a higher than normal pressure strike. Nothing major. And Die deterioration on the other cents. Again.. nothing major.
Was he asking about value? I mean cut the guy some slack, he's trying to learn. He told you what he suspects of the first two, grease, and they are. He inquired about the compromised rim of the other one, and that's classic encasing, not a Mint error. That's all he wanted. He got two out of three. That's a good batting average for a rookie.
Anytime I see a whitish looking haze amidst the area in question I think of unstruck luster. Not really die deterioration, or struck thru. Weak strike.
