What should I look for in Eisenhowers?

So papa is quite old school and always goes in person to pay bills by check (...).

However, this sometimes ends up great as he always asks for dollar coins, half dollars, and anything else cool.

One day he comes back with a GIANT bag of a million and one Ikes. I already had a full set so I didn't look through the bag.

BUT - is there anything special that I should be looking for?

Look for the ones with the least amount of bag marks.

This is a pretty good resource... http://www.ikegroup.info/?page_id=23

The 1972 Type 2 and 1976 Type 1 from Philadelphia in high grades are the ones you most want to look for...

I've just started looking at Ike's myself. I can pick them up on the cheap from the local shops. I also snagged 13 of them at the local Taco Bell the other night. Nothing great in the pile, but you don't catch them in the wild very often.
