I got a dime like that. I have attached photos.
Not much you can do with it.
I guess that is why it was in the reject bin.:)

Good photo. I have found things like this. Thin and underweight quarters, Texas pennies, since dimes are so small to begin with it doesn't take much to turn them into slag either intentionally or by accident.

Walking out of Stop and Shop in the Town of Hyde Park. Looked at the reject slot. I found a few foreign coins but I found about $4.00 in change in the slot also. That went into my pocket to share with my Grand son.

The rare 'ghost of Frankie' obverse variety. Been wanting to add one of those to the old collection for a while now!

Right! I think the few I've found have all been in reject trays as they're all spat out. I thought it was a dime on first glance but I'll gladly take the steelie instead :D

$1.57 From the reject tray. I'm thankful to find this much. Most very modern and nothing old or special here. Sorry for the fuzzy photo.:)

Hard to hit over a dollar most times. Once hit for 12 dollars (counting big Canada coins).

My local Coinstar NEVER has orphaned change in the reject slot. It is conveniently located near the customer service desk and my suspicions are the staff quickly gobbles up any left change. Today however, after going through the opening machine prompts, a silver Roosie plopped in the reject slot before I began putting my coins in the hooper. Finding silver is always a fun find!

    Great find!
Shows to always check even if you usually don't find anything.

Last few hits. 15 cents in the slot, 11 cents in the slot, nickel on the shelf.
These days that's like robbing a Brinks truck.
Picked up a couple of foreigns. One I think is Hong Kong and the one today is either Kazakstan, or Uzbekistan or Takjikistan. I've seen it before. The guy on the front with the Asian buildings on the back.

A 30 mile trip to the doctor had me detour to another Coin Star machine location. There was 96 cents in change waiting for me to claim in the reject slot.
