I am normally a die hard BEP collector, but I passed on this one.

Yeah, I guess I'm still interested, I bought one...of course. While on the BEP site, I noticed that they will have the 50-note sheets available next month. I want one of those too. Where does it end? :greedy:

Is this set expensive because the two notes are 2009 series? Wouldn't these two notes have been printed before the 25 year anniversary? I noticed single $2 notes from Dallas were 2013 series and $7.95 each. This will be my first purchase from them even though this product seems waaay overpriced. Its the Texas theme that hooks me. I saw it on their site a few days ago. If there is any bonus it is the free shipping.

I agree this product is way over priced. 19.95 would have been more appropriate

It's a double deuce set with a different theme. The last DD set they issued, in 2013, sold for 34.95, just for comparison.

I received my product two days ago. It made it from the BEP to within mere inches of my mailbox, perfectly flat. Kink free. The envelope is plainly and clearly marked "hand process do not bend". The envelope plainly and clearly does not fit in my mailbox. It does fit when it gets folded in HALF! Also now out of all my mint orders this recent order is shown as damaged and undeliverable. The Mint does a pretty good job of packaging. This has all happened on my "new" mail lady's watch.

The currency didn't get creased. The presentation itself did. My mailbox is a little oversized so a complete fold in half wasn't performed. Enough of a bend to put noticeable creases in the presentation. Without the presentation literature, to me, the notes are not noteworthy. Other than the serial number starting at 2016, its a $2 note.

As far as the mail lady goes that might be a rock and a hard place situation. She clearly bent the envelope. There was no other way to get it in the mailbox. I don't live on the King ranch. My door is maybe a 14 step roundtrip from the mailbox. There is extra postage paid by the BEP for hand processed delivery. She could of just put it on the porch. Should I concede and leave a twenty in the box for her? I have spoke to her once to sign for a package. Hi. Thank you. End of transaction.

If you read all of that, thank you for listening to my rant.

gronnh20: Your letter carrier was wrong. Tell her never to do it again in a nice way. She needs to know you get valuable items that must not be mishandled. If she does not cooperate, there is the postmaster. The post office wants to be treated like a business so they have to start treating people like they are real customers and not bureaucratic subjects.

Hi all. Is there any place to list the serial numbers for trading? I am looking for 20160404, have a set to trade.

Texas is also known as the Lone Star State....would have been nice to have thrown in a $2 star note to make the price more palatable.

My set was in a beat-up looking folder, so I sent it back , minus the notes, asking for a replacement folder. We'll see what happens.

Every set I've heard of so far has started with either 20161xxx or 20162xxx. I would expect there to be 20160xxx sets out there, but I haven't actually seen one....

Anyone spotted any lower (or higher) serials than I have?
