FAQ explicitly says you can split it up

I would definitely keep records and track this carefully, however.

CAC is the outfit we send our PCGS submitted-and-graded coins to for CAC stickers, a.k.a., their endorsements on those grades, they're so highly-esteemed. CAC would be great for these, I'd think, provided you could swing it. And I'll lay odds they've better customer service than what you're saying you just experienced with PCGS.

Messydesk, first off, if their service dept. was on the ball, I’d be able to confirm one way or another. Secondly, if my membership said, all vouchers have to be use at one time, I wouldn’t have purchased a membership. I’ll read their rules on vouchers a little closer but with each passing day, I’m thinking happy campers don’t exist.

Burton! You should be running the PCGS service department. Tks.
AND, yes. I agree. Certified, recorded, and with photo copies!

Ah. Didn't used to work that way, but that could have been years ago when they had paper vouchers. You're still on the hook for a lot of S&H fees going one at a time, though.

I remember when the paper vouchers said you had to use it all at one time. You could send in one coin but you wasted the rest.

Well I got through to PCGS on the phone this morning! Fifteen minutes after opening I was #11 on the list to speak to a real human being! After waiting about 20minutes and listening to some irritating music with the occasional recorded message, (leave a call back number and we’ll contact you when my turn comes to the first position) I pressed #9 and gave my number! Ten callers before me, an hour and a half later, Im sitting here waiting and thinking, what a joke this service department is!

Yes it is! Sadly, newbies like myself have to learn the hard way and the more people read how p poor this business actual is, the sooner PCGS will get better at answering calls. Buyer beware.

To clarify, I am referring to the same old PCGS boring lack of communication with collectors...new or long time collectors.

Every coin Board, including CU has the same disgruntled complaints concerning PCGS customer service on any given day. It is not a new complaint, and was the same group of complaints before the entity had new owners. It has been so for many years. Speaking up on the CU website has always earned a no soup for you getouttahere response.

It simply does not matter as a #1 thru #8 priority problem on the PCGS marketing List of Improvements anymore.

Update! I finally receive a call back from PCGS and was pleasantly surprised. The young women who was assigned to my case was actually helpful. I was able to get my questions answered. It seems that their online submission form has some glitches? Bottom line, print out the long form and fill in by hand.. package well, ship in, and hold on!

no problem using just 6 of my 8 vouchers. 2 remaining vouches must be used within a yr.

Burton, interesting examples of top 20 coins sold! if someone offered me that kind of money for a coin, there’s a possibility I would sell. Lol Until that happens, I’m keeping my day job!

well 1 month has passed and my coins are in the grading stage. Photos are being taken along with grading. So far, no pain with slight separation anxiety. Lol

Well, they are coming home! PCGS sent me a message stating my gold coins have been graded and are being shipped back to me. My two cents about grading; sending coins out to PCGS has been simple and a lot friendlier then I expected and a six weeks turn around is more then reasonable. All I hope for is an honest and reasonable grading for the coins..

You should be able to look up your grades tonight, if you haven’t done so already.

Yes I could but I’m going to wait until they show up. I dislike disappointment and sleep better with my head under a pillow! Lol. I’ll probably do an opinion poll for each coin. It’s a good way to see who has the best opinions on grades.

hello nut, thanks for the best wishes! The grades, good bad or ugly, it is what it is. Like a box of chocolates! Lol. My coins have been photoed so good images will be easy to obtain. I’m going to show them without showing the grades to see who has the sharp eye Should be interesting.
