There are coins that are struck on wrong stock but there are rules.. A blank Cent Planchet can fit into the Nickel chamber and get struck but it would be smaller in size and thinner. A blank Nickel Planchet cannot fit into a Cent chamber because it's to large. So it's not possible for your coin to be of Cent stock because of it's normal size. I metal detect and find Nickels that have been buried for some time to change color due to Environmental Elements. But I see that your Nickel has a slight Misaligned Obverse strike because of the Double Rim effect..
