This popped up on Forvm and I grabbed it. Coins of M Antony do not stick around very long. This makes my fourth coin of Antony. I quite like the variety available. It is not in the best of condition but I really liked the reverse. Please post your coins of M Antony or any quinarii you may have. Roman Republic, Mark Antony, Triumvir and Imperator, 44 - 30 B.C., Silverquinarius, Crawford 489/4, Sear CRI 121, RSC I 82, Sydenham 1159, Kestner-Hannover 3716, BMCRR Gaul 36
If I wasn't so sick of ravens then I might give you a total thumbs-up for that cool animal coin ... but yah, those buggers are out to get me!! (they thump up and down on our garbage cans until they pop-open and then they toss the garbage all over the lawn!!) ... pretty smart birds (but again, they're not that cool if you live with them!!)
I have an example of the OP coin, but no pic. Here are a couple of Brutus quinarii I haven't posted before:
Nice acquisition, Orfew. That's actually not bad at all for the series as I have yet to see one even remotely perfect. Here's mine, I have yet to see one that's perfect (of course, I haven't seen Volodya's yet so there is hope). Volodya - That Brutus Sestius is the best I've seen. I bid on it too, badly, as you can tell since you own it! Nice coin.
For some reason, I kinda like Quinarii... @Orfew , that is a COOL coin, nice capture. @Volodya and @Carthago ... you guys steal the show with nice examples. I have a few that I can post... Mine are not the prettiest, but it is fun for me to hit some cool points in the Historical Timeslines... (Forgive my truncated attributes... I am in the process of loading a database, and these are the PIC File Names) Roman Imperial Quinarii: RI Augustus Quinarius - possibly Asia Recepta - blank wore-off-rev (This was a FREEBIE) RI Hadrian 117-138 AR Quinarius
Beautiful style Orfew, nice catch! I never even saw this one go up and I check Forvm all the time. Here's one of mine but a different flavor.

You want to see my Marc Antony coins? Sure, no problem! Let me just play my lotto numbers here. I'll get back to you in a week...if I win. Nice Marc Antony coins, everyone. I am in the market for the legionnaire denarius of M. Antony, but so far I haven't found one that felt right for me at the right price.
Have you been spying on me? ... yah, ravens hate me!! (I was bitten as a child) ... garbage day is kinda like my way of offering some sort of sacrifice
