Yep, and if following the original trading name, bufalo is preferable.

and the song goes "oh give me a home where the buffalo roam". There would be no song if it were Bison. It just doesn't "flow", not enough syllables, bu-ffa-lo vs
bi-son. There's no poetry. Just sayin.

Hmmm. All I wanted to know was what you all thought the correct answer was so I can order me a burger! I'm darn hungry for buffalo or bison burgers. Yummy!!

Is an SUV a car? Do all wagons have an engine? and don't mistake pennies with cents.

I knew there was a difference but I suppose I’ve gone with Buffalo under the Theory of Least Resistance. I don’t know what this proves, but pro baseball has a Triple A farm club in Buffalo, NY (the Buffalo Bisons).

By the way, I’ve had a bison burger once in my life. Good eating it was indeed!
