I checked that the numeral on Willy's coin curves to much at the top.
The only one that fit was a 9.

And the size of the curve is too large to be an 8.

It sits like a 2 high above the 9 draw a line sits higher than the rest of the numbers

 

Looks the same as the 9. The 2 doesn't curve near enough to match.

 

Any way to reveal it

 

Well whatever the date, it’s a WAM, not a CAM, the leg of the A is just bent out of shape some, look at it close.

 

Look at the FG close AM

 

It's a close AM just like it should be for a 99'

 

PS @eddiespin I see the gash across the letters. But if you want to call it a 99' WAM I would say we need better pics.
