strangely enough this one was tough to find at least at my price range for this set.... very very few empty slots now mostly in the 1700s :D

That's a large 8, small stars, small letters N-4. There 2 obv dies with large stars and both have small 8's. All the dies with large 8's have small stars.

star touches the bun... that's a large star the smalls are centered and large letters without a doubt
I might be wrong on the star but I don't think so

I was incorrect when I said all of the large 8 dies had small stars.

All of the large star varieties (1, 2, 5, 6,& 7) have star 6 pointing well to the right of the point of the coronet. On the two small star varieties it points directly at the point of the coronet. Yours points directly at the point of the coronet so it is small stars. That makes it either N-3 or N-4 both of which are small (medium) letters.

There are only two 1834 varieties with large letters, N-6, and N-7. N-7 is a proof only variety. On both N-6 and N-7 the Point of leaf below ST is below the left foot of the T. On your coin (N-4) it is to the left of the right edge of the S. So it is Large 8 small stars small letters.
