I like to put my coins in albums. I'm wondering if anyone knows of an album the new Morgans/Peace dollars and/or ASEs will go in while staying in their Mint 'capsule'? I thought about the Intercept Shield but I don't see where they make a generic 'page' or album. Or even if the Mint capsule would fit. I'll keep the OGP but I like to pick an album up and look at the coins. Anyone have an ideas? Thanks!

I don’t know as I don't collect the new ones. They are overpriced to me so I’ll stick with the old. I’m sure an album is available.

If I had the urge to do that, I would carefully measure the diameter of the capsule. Go to a hardware, tool shop, lumberyard, etc. and get a hole saw that attaches to a drill, that has the size you need. They sell them for cutting holes in new doors so the mechanisms align. Practice enlarging the album sized holes on cardboard scraps before any albums. There will be a small hole the size of the drill bit but no one will see it but you.. But don't start right off with the album.

Believe it or not such a device was made by one now defunct album company 50 years ago and I have been looking for one about 20 :) If you know a school shop teacher, they can explain and do it better. Jim
