Ok so I started a descending one. I’ll start the opposite at 1793 as i don’t have a half disme and don’t think most here do (post if you can) but basically I’ll post this Now who’s got something dated 1794
Ask Doug. He hails from around them times. Hear tell that he fought in the French and Indian War.........
I’m going to keep at us issues unless we get absolutely stuck. 1815 is a tough one. Unless someone has a quarter or half. And both tough dates.
Well here’s a 1794 for you. I have no problem with the next few years but hopefully someone else can post
Well I’ll keep it going with a 1795. 96 anyone? I’ll post both types of the 1795 dollar. I don’t have an off center or a 3 leaves
With all due respect, it's interesting how grading works these days. About a quarter century ago, I sent this example of the same variety into one of the "big two" for grading. It came home in a worthless body bag. I then sent to ANACS because I overly concerned about TPG at the time. It's now in ANACS "soap bar" holder with VF-35 on it. VF-35 is about right, but I'll bet it's an EF today.
