Please tell me how this is done. Straight line through the first S all the way under the second S in STATES. 1982 PENNY
I read that after Mary had their last child there was no more hanky panky going on in the Lincoln BR, that's probably why Abe is a little blue!
I was going to pull your leg paddy and tell you there was no need to weigh it; and that the coin was 100% struck from a known bronze die (#6774 MDS) due to the diagnostic die polish I see. Anyway, if the images were not out of focus I would say it was caused by a piece of debris rolled into a bronze planchet.
Slightly better. Show coin w/o being on scale and what's up with the Obverse? Reverse: Raised line- Linear plating blister recessed line- "Cat scratch fever". :0
Paddyman & Insider wanted better pictures so I did my best and for the scale they wanted to know what it weighed cause it was a 1982. Now another question is a plating bubble that big and straight?
For now, lets just say Post Mint Damage. See how the line is too straight and goes across the letters not under??
