I chose Michigan... for it's great fishing (so I've been told ) and even better friends ( @Rick Stachowski ). 2nd place Wisconsin.... For its cheese...
I picked the one with the map because the Great Lakes are cool. Wisconsin baffles me - they're 10th in line as corn producers behind even South Dakota. And gosh, Texas as the Lone Star state with a big star - could you get any less creative?
Michigan all the way we have the best fresh water fishing in the world catch smallmouth bass like this
I am a space nut so I have to give a shout out to Florida... However I thought Texas gave us one of the very best designed state quarters. I am a fan of the Texas design.
I like the 2004 Wisconsin Extra Leaf varieties. I have one with the extra leaf high, but no pics of it unfortunately. I'll have to dig it out and photograph it. Otherwise, any state quarter with a nice error, I'm a fan.
I’m with Evan on this. That angry mint employee created the high and low Leaf designs and I like them. It created a little excitement.
I spend a couple months each year visiting with my 92 year old mom in Melbourne Shores FL. Metal detecting in the soft sands of the Treasure Coast is a welcome pleasure along with the warm winter sun. Sure beats the bitter cold and hard packed clay in the Hudson River Valley. Gotta go with FLORIDA!
